Canada Day long weekend is best celebrated in Kaslo. With something to offer everyone in your family, Kaslo is poised to celebrated the biggest Canada Day celebrations in the Kootenays.

The greatest part of the celebrations will be at the Kaslo Hotel where they will host 4 days of music with great Canadian and local talent such as WIlly Blizzard, Daniel Huscroft, Stone Crow, The Lichens, Randy Bencke, Dawna McLennan, Highly Strung, Elena Yeung and the Kootenay Special. Canada Day features the ever popular 7th Annual Outhouse Races in front of the Historic SS Moyie at 3pm, followed by a hot dogs & cake fundraiser outside the Kaslo Hotel with proceeds going to the 2012 fireworks.

When the sun goes down Kaslo pulls out the fireworks for a great display over the bay!
