Fern Van Horn

Native to BC, Fern Van Horn has been drawing and
painting her whole life. Fern works primarily in water colour or acrylic; her subjects are usually those with a “past” – old trucks, old toys or gnarly old trees.
Light and colour characterize Fern’s work and charge it with a sense of excitement and energy.
“I am inspired to give my subjects one more chance at centre stage.” Her work is displayed in various galleries and at Fern’s on Front Street.
